Hoya CPL HD NANO 52mm

Hoya's new line of polarizing filters - HD NANO (originally announced as the HD3 series) are products whose optical quality exceeds the requirements of the latest cameras with matrix resolutions of over 50 megapixels.

The most important features of the new filters are:

- Up to 800% more scratch resistant than first generation HD filters thanks to NANO coatings with unprecedented smoothness.
- Equipped with 200% smoother NANO coatings compared to second generation HD filters.
- All-new, durable multi-layer coatings (16 layers total).
- Chemically toughened CIR-PL filter glass provides four times the resistance of conventional optical glass.
- All-new coating technology enables 99.7% light transmission, plus provides the filter surface with hydro and oleophobic properties, making it suitable for extreme conditions.

- Lightweight, low profile frame to prevent vignetting when using lenses with very wide fields of view. A front thread is provided as a matter of course.
