JJC S+ Series Ultra Slim Multi-Coated Circular Polarizing Filters are designed to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that becomes polarized due to reflection from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass. The result is a noticeable increase in saturation of the sky and foliage, as well as clearer images when shooting in foggy conditions. The effect can be seen in the viewfinder and changed by rotating the filter. These series filters are made of German optical glass to maintain image quality and are housed in a precision milled aluminum flange.

It features an incredibly slim design that glass reaches a depth of only 0.08" (2mm), which helps minimize the likelihood of vignetting. The filter hardness is up to 9HD, which provides additional protection in the event of a drop or scratch situation. There are 9 layers on each glass surface. Waterproof, oil resistant, fingerprint resistant, anti-static and anti-corrosion coatings help keep the filter clean and prevent scratches on the filter surface. Most importantly, the JJC S+CPL series filters utilize Japanese High-Rate Transparency (HRT) polarizing film and provide polarization ratios up to 99.8% or higher.
