The reducer is made of black anodized aluminium. With this reducer you can use Pentax K lenses on Nikon 1 cameras (Nikon 1 J1, Nikon 1 V1, etc.). The reducer fits exactly on the camera body, however, there are no conductive connections, so there is no data communication between the camera body and the lens. As a result, automatic functions such as autofocus, aperture will not work. Photos can only be taken in full manual exposure mode. Focusing at infinity is possible.
