The Quadralite Umbrella Softbox has a white transparent diffusion surface and as a softbox provides soft, diffused light. By using a silver umbrella that reflects light towards the diffusion plane, there is no loss of light reflected from the diffuser. Furthermore, we gain better control over the light and do not unnecessarily illuminate objects that we are not photographing. This is especially important in small rooms where the reflection of light off walls and objects can affect the final appearance of the subject. An important advantage of the Quadralite Umbrella Softbox is the ease and speed of installation - this is the same as with conventional umbrellas. It can be used successfully with both studio lights and speedlite type productions (with appropriate mounting).
